These photographs are my conversation with Edward Hopper. I have always been attracted to his works that, for me, emphasise isolation. / I've noticed this strange little correspondence between Edward Hopper's paintings and something I had already been doing in my literature and visual work. I'm not entirely sure what it is, but I think it might be this: there's emptiness, loneliness, and intricacy. Although maybe it's only a freckle. // My work here is about how someone's life is actually going on, and we're just looking at their facade, their fragments from the outside. We know nothing. /// “Languidly Edward Hopper” is a photo series that I worked on recently.
